Panduit, a world-class developer and provider of leading edge physical infrastructure solutions, and the sponsor of the Networking Academy Panduit Network Infrastructure Essentials (PNIE) course, has partnered with Cisco Learning Institute to provide scholarships through the Panduit Excellence Scholarship Program. This annual scholarship program will provide financial assistance to post-secondary Networking Academy students enrolled in CCNA Discovery and CCNA Exploration courses for the 2008-2009 academic year. This program is available to qualifying students in the Asia Pacific, Canada, Europe, Latin America, Middle East, and U.S. regions. A US$1000 scholarship will be awarded to 40 recipients to partially fund their tuition at their respective institution.
Applications will be accepted from August 1, 2008 through August 15, 2008 and all submissions must be in English. Recipients will be selected by a team of representatives from Cisco Academy Training Centers, Cisco Learning Institute, Panduit, and Cisco. Scholarship winners will be notified by September 1, 2008. Recipients will be chosen based on their academic achievements, community involvement, and commitment to the networking technology field.

The McMurry Fellowship for Diversity Enrichment in Independent Schools exists to provide students of color the opportunity to discover and explore the wide range of professional job opportunities available in private independent K-12 schools.
Types of Awards:
The McMurry Fellowship is designed to provide students of color the freedom and support to experience all that private independent schools have to offer.
Through regional competition, private independent schools award a financial stipend to students who demonstrate an interest in and determination to make the most of the opportunity. The McMurry Fellows then become immersed in their designated school’s community full-time for the entire semester.
Eligibility:
- Applicant must be considered a student of color
- Applicant must be legally authorized or permitted to work in the United States
- An applicant must have achieved academic standing sufficiently advanced to assure completion of a bachelor’s degree before October 1.
- Applicant must be a college junior or senior, graduate student or recent graduate
- Applicant must be willing to abide by the terms and obligations of The McMurry Fellowship
