The Shell Centenary Scholarship Fund (TSCSF) was established as a registered charity in 1997.
Under various Masters programmes, TSCSF offers postgraduate students from developing countries the opportunity to study in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands, and gain skills that will make a long-term contribution to the further development of their countries.

Each year nearly 90 students will be given major scholarships (for one year in the UK, and for two years in NL).

Partners in the scheme are the University of Cambridge, Durham University, The University of Edinburgh, Imperial College London, University of Leeds, The University of Oxford and University College London in the UK, and with Delft University of Technology, Eindhoven University of Technology and University of Twente in the Netherlands. These universities also contribute to the funding of scholarships.

St. John’s University Scholarship Opportunities

St. John’s University offers the following programs:

Assistantships/Fellowships: Awarded to full-time students on a yearly basis, based on academic achievement.

  • Requirements: Based on academic achievement.
  • How to apply: Submit your completed application along with the application for assistantships/fellowships.
  • Deadline: None. Assistantships/Fellowship are limited and are extremely competitive. Students are urged to apply as far in advance as possible.

Catholic Scholarship: An academic scholarship is awarded to two graduates with a record of a significant achievement from a Catholic college or university who have completed a major or minor in education.

  • Requirements: You must be a graduate from a Catholic college/university. Submission of an application to the University, resume, two letters of reference supporting your service to your college/university, community, or activities.
  • How to Apply: Submit your regular application and the Catholic Scholarship application along with your transcripts, resume, and two letter of reference supporting your service to your college/university, community, activities as well as your statement of goals.
  • Deadline: April 1 each year for enrollment in the fall semester.

This is best at this time, for one of these. Most scholarships are for students for outstanding achievements in the field or another. It could be for sports or academic subjects, but an additional ga miles on your college fees paid for you.

There are several types of loans from various sources. There are loans provided by the government and the private sector, and there are several banks and credit-performance ratio. Government loans are increasingly popular, it is best in an early application. These loans are limited to the amount, so that the older your application better chances in one. Commonwealth Postgraduate Study in the UK

The Commission supports full-time study at both Masters and doctoral level. There are also opportunities for those studying for doctoral degrees in developing country universities to spend up to a year in the United Kingdom as part of their studies.

There are four ways to apply for scholarships:

• You can apply through the national nominating agency in your country

• You can apply through universities in certain developing countries

• Through the Commonwealth Shared Scholarships Scheme, you can apply directly to certain UK universities, for one year Masters courses only

• You can apply through a limited number of NGOs and other programmes funded by the UK Department for International Development

We regret that the Commission is unable to accept direct applications for study in the United Kingdom. Please note that any such applications will not be considered or acknowledged.
